Blums Pineda

Blums, a former partner who was based in Prophet’s Hong Kong office, specialized in growth strategies and digital transformation, and found new opportunities in emerging technology. He’s worked for Oracle, Booz Allen Hamilton, Globe Telecom and Exicon, and spent the last 20 years making sure that his favorite word—possibility—opened doors for clients in telecom media technology, the Internet and digital sectors.

Blums likes to work fast, and he loves speed. Besides breaking Mach 2 a few times flying on the Concorde, he’s also an accomplished racer, driving BMWs and Miata sports cars on some of America's most beautiful and challenging road courses. (He can’t decide if he is more proud of his certification as a high-speed performance driving instructor with BMW Car Club of America or his MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.)

Besides his MBA, he also holds dual bachelor degrees in Management Engineering and Management Economics. A frequent speaker at top digital and tech conferences in Asia, he continues to race, but mostly after his children.
